North Jetty Rehabilitation, St. Lucie Inlet, FL2009
Description
Work entailed raising approximately 450 linear feet of the existing North Jetty to El. +8.0 feet MLLW. Construction included the manufacture and installation of marine mattresses, placement of geotextiles, bedding stone and 13,000 tons of up to 15 ton armor stone. Work also included the installation of two USCG fixed navigation lights and daymarks. There was no land access to site and all work was accomplished using ABS floating equipment.
